One-of-a-kind and handmade, featuring unique decoupaged beads (paper over wood with a glaze) that are imported from the Phillipines. The beads are reproductions 19th century Japanese artwork. The necklace is accented with painted wooden beads, agate, Japanse seed beads and a dark brown tassel. Although the piece has the effect of a statement necklace, it is surprisingly lightweight and soft neutral hues throughout make it easy to accessorize.
